About

Growing up I was the introverted extrovert. I was a good student who purposely failed a test here and there to stay unnoticed but keep my cool. If I could stay under the radar I could live the socially awkward life I desired. My mom is an artist and my dad, an entrepreneur, granting me the conflicting gift of being an OCD creative. I’ve played and excelled in learning many instruments, from the saxophone to my long obsession with djing.

When I turned 18 I got my first credit card and maxed it out, buying a set of turntables. In college I would lock myself in my room studying Grand Master Flash while my friends were out doing keg stands. My ultimate goal was to be the additional member of the Invisible Scratch Pickles. All I could remember about watching those guys were the interviews Qbert would give. He would explain djing as another language often comparing it to a form of alien communication. This is when I knew I needed to figure out how to create my own language with music and speak to a crowd. I haven’t received word yet from Qbert but I haven’t given up hope. He’s a busy dude.
